Robbie Comes to Town

To start off the summer right, my best friend Robin came up from Reno to spend a week with us. Here is the recipe for a perfect week:

I have missed this girl! During her stay we took many a walk, drank way too much soda, shared the beauty of the Dairy Queen S'mores blizzard with others and discovered that we have a deep love and appreciation for Star Trek! Thank you to Robin for amazing visit and to her husband for letting us steal her!

 Live long and prosper!

God Speaks Through Skinny Fingers

When I had Easton, I think he zapped such a large amount of calcium from my bones that my fingers shrunk. I have no medical knowledge to support this claim, but for whatever reason, all ten digits are significantly more slim. I set my beautiful sparkly band, so familiar to my left ring finger, in it's little box for safe keeping. 'He won't be gone long,' I comforted my now naked ,tan-lined finger. Eight months later.... Not wearing my wedding ring wasn't doing it for me. First off, I got hit on several times by some creep...

PREGNANCY 101

Easton Alden Prescott We have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of our first son, Easton, for the past eight months. This adventure has been wonderful and exciting from the get-go! Here is a little synapses of our journey! My favorite part, so far, was telling Cody that he was going to be a Daddy-o. With some help from Robbie, I had him convinced that we were all going to the park to take some goofy pictures. Below are pictures of what he really found at our destination.  I found a GREAT song for breaking the news to family or friends in a special way. While Cody opened the ring box,  I played this in the background .  When the message got across, Cody started to tear up, causing his eyes to become hidden behind to lenses of fog.-Adorable!  ______________________________________________________ During the first couple of weeks there was little physical change happening. We spent our time getting used to th...
