A Painting for Lois


Bible verses are in my opinion, pieces of artwork themselves. Our lives can be illustrations of scripture. Just imagine as you live out Gods words that some angel is watching and painting the scene. That was just a thought, but while we are on the topic of scripture and painting, here is my interpretation of Ezekiel 36:26 done for a beautiful woman and warrior for Christ; Lois Johnson.

We have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of our first son, Easton, for the past seven months. This adventure has been wonderful and exciting from the get-go! Here is a little synapses of our journey!

An Updated Update

Excitement and terror. Those two feelings were playing a heated game of Tug o’ war on my uncertain state of mind. Then, they met up with thankfulness and guilt, for a round of doubles. We were leaving the NICU. Why the battle of emotions? Here is the current update on Annette, Charlotte, and the rest of us Prescotts.  No more goodbyes and counting the days until we will see the boys next; this week we got to go home! It happened so fast. During the weekend we trained how to insert and maintain Charlotte's NG tube on our own, and then, badda-bing, badda-boom, we were discharged! We gathered our belongings and walked straight out the door with baby girls in tow, just as I had imagined it from inside alcove #3553, for 47 days. It would have been all sunshine and roses too, if not for the previous day. The baby didn't make it.
