Adding a name to the family tree!


LITTLE MISS AUBRY



On the wonderful day of June 10th at 7:00 am, our newest member of the family, Aubry Camryn Benelli Garrett, was born! 

Cody's sister and brother-in-law decided to adopt over two years ago, but their journey took a little longer than expected (understatement). We know Gods timing is perfect though, and sure enough, now Aubry and Easton get to be the same age! 

Now that she is finally here we couldn't wait to go meet her! Here is our first time meeting our newest niece:



Uncle Cody handling 'er like a pro. 


Once he stopped being a baby hog, I got to hold Little Miss Aubry too.

Isn't she beautiful?!


And when the crying begins it is time for the amateurs to sit aside and let the Mama save the day.


Kaia and I decided to test Codys camera out.

An Updated Update

Excitement and terror. Those two feelings were playing a heated game of Tug o’ war on my uncertain state of mind. Then, they met up with thankfulness and guilt, for a round of doubles. We were leaving the NICU. Why the battle of emotions? Here is the current update on Annette, Charlotte, and the rest of us Prescotts.  No more goodbyes and counting the days until we will see the boys next; this week we got to go home! It happened so fast. During the weekend we trained how to insert and maintain Charlotte's NG tube on our own, and then, badda-bing, badda-boom, we were discharged! We gathered our belongings and walked straight out the door with baby girls in tow, just as I had imagined it from inside alcove #3553, for 47 days. It would have been all sunshine and roses too, if not for the previous day. The baby didn't make it.
