She Cracks Me Up!

There is only one person that I will play doubles Foosball with and that is my friend Jennifer Friesen, or as she introduced herself to me years ago; Pepper.

I adore this girl, which is why I was sooo pumped for last weekend to arrive and bring her to my house for a lovely visit. Although it is winter in the Willamette Valley (not the most opportune time for sight seeing) her ability to make all situations fun, if not hilarious, was on its a-game.
Between grubbing up at the local hot spots, Yeasty Beasty and Yangs, we spent our time playing some friendly foosball at Rookies (killed it), exploring all that Salem had to offer and learning how to use Instagram...well some of us learned while others taught.
The only problem is that now I am freshly reminded of how much I miss her! Perhaps it is time for Easton's first road trip?

We gathered our belongings and walked straight out the door with baby girls in tow, just as I had imagined it from inside alcove #3553, for 47 days. It would have been all sunshine and roses too, if not for the previous day. The baby didn't make it. I didn’t need to see the blotchy cheeks and tear-stained faces of family members to put it together; in the NICU you just listen to the beeps. Dings a...
